Dr. Christie Leedy, DDS
Dr. Christie Leedy’s journey has been shaped by deep family roots and small-town values. The first female born in her family in 50 years, she grew up in Haskell, Texas, with four younger brothers and parents who served as her greatest role models. Her early experience working at the local hospital, under the mentorship of Anita Thigpen Perry—now First Lady of Texas—sparked her passion for healthcare and service.
She earned her dental degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio and opened her first practice in Anson, Texas, in 1984. Eight years later, she relocated to Abilene, where she continues to care for patients at Abilene Dental and raise her family. As a devoted mother to two sons, Corey and Jace, she balanced family life and career, hosting neighborhood gatherings and encouraging her children to pursue their dreams at TCU and Texas Tech.
Her love for close-knit community life is evident in her volunteer work. Dr. Christie serves on boards including the Noah Project and Texas Women’s Commission and mentors young adults through the Young and Motivated program. She is also a leader in her profession, appointed in 2011 by Governor Rick Perry to the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners.
Professionally, Dr. Christie is a member of several esteemed dental organizations, including the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and a founding member of the American Academy for Oral Systemic Health. She launched the Angel Smiles program, allowing dentists to donate smiles in memory of loved ones.
Recognized as a “Super Dentist” by Texas Monthly for eight consecutive years, Dr. Christie has been featured on KTAB’s Healthy Living 4 U, Abilene Living, and hosts Tooth Tuesday on local radio, promoting dental awareness. In 2012, she danced to support Hendrick Home for Children in “Dancing with the Abilene Stars.”

Dr. Stewart K. White
Dr. Stewart K. White grew up in Houston before earning his undergraduate and master’s degrees at Texas A&M University. His passion for dentistry led him to the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) School of Dental Medicine in Florida, where he refined his skills in patient-centered care.
Now serving the Abilene community, Dr. White is dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality dentistry in a comfortable and welcoming environment. When he’s not creating healthy smiles, he enjoys spending time with his wife, their one-year-old daughter, and their four dogs—who keep life fun and full of energy! An avid tennis player, Dr. White also loves staying active and building relationships both on and off the court.

Dr. Gunjan Dhir, BDS, MS
Dr. Gunjan Dhir graduated from the Himachal Dental College in 2002. She moved to the United States in the same year and began a prosthodontics residency. She completed her residency in 2005 and worked in private practice in Spokane, Washington.
Moving to Texas in 2008, she worked as an associate prior to opening her first practice in 2009. Since that time, she has been involved in the startup or acquisition of over 74 practices.
Her current role is to oversee the compliance & clinical team through chart audits and provider utilization metrics. She is also heavily involved in the dentist recruiting for the company. She is married to Dr. Gaurav Puri and together they have two children.
When not at work, she enjoys reading, traveling, and doing activities with the kids.

Born and raised in India, Dr. Gaurav Puri’s journey into dentistry began at Himachal Dental College in Sundernagar, India where he earned a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2002. It was there that he first witnessed the transformative power of reconstructive procedures, igniting his passion for advanced dentistry and setting him on a path to specialize. His unique background allows him to combine a diverse clinical perspective with the most advanced techniques in reconstructive dentistry.
Dr. Puri’s dedication led him to a highly competitive Advanced Education in Prosthodontics residency at Marquette University, where he trained exclusively in complex restorative and implant dentistry for three years. During this specialized training, he honed his skills in procedures such as veneers, crowns, bridges, and full-mouth reconstructions. His commitment to dental excellence was further refined while teaching at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine before he entered private practice.
